Thanks to the great popularity of the tellows blacklists, we now want to offer our customers the possibility of real-time caller protection. With the help of the tellows API Keys and a suitable telephone system this is no longer a problem. The API Key is an interface to the application programming and enables programmers and PBX developers to access the tellows database and thus to serious and dubious numbers and their evaluation.
No matter which telephone system you use, as long as it has access to the Internet and can use API Keys, a real-time query to the tellows server is no problem. On telephone systems (e.g. Asterisk etc.) you can now decide for yourself what to do with the incoming calls. Do you already want to see the type of call (e.g. advertising call) on the display, redirect the calls with a negative score to the answering machine or suppress calls of all negatively rated numbers? Thanks to the tellows API Key this is no problem at all.
License key for the tellows call blocker blacklist
Owners of the tellows call blocker can have their blacklist updated regularly with the help of a license key for the tellows call blocker. The call blocker is no longer actively developed, but the blocker remains in its functions and continues to regularly obtain the current blacklist.
By means of the tellows score, everyone can configure their own call blocker and decide whether numbers with a slightly negative rating or numbers with a very poor rating should be blocked first. The relevant telephone numbers are checked and updated daily. Due to the size and activity of the tellows community, new dubious callers are very quickly added to the block list and telephone numbers that are no longer active are removed. The licence key is available as a download after purchase and must be stored in the call blocker settings.
tellows provides a forum for the rating of telephone numbers and uses the collective knowledge of the community to develop solutions against unwanted calls. tellows is represented in more than 50 countries and pursues the mission to combat telephone spam worldwide.
